Shell's Bio

Shell began her career in the collections Industry in 1990 collecting on Defaulted Guaranteed Student Loans at DCS, Inc. the number one Student Loan Collection Agency in the United States. Soon she realized she was a natural at collecting and was able to do it in a way that was not offensive and soon rose to become the number one collector.   She also found she was able to locate people that owed debts a skill called Skip Tracing.  These were two very new skills and in learning these skills she also discovered she was able to come up with “systems” that made her job more efficient and she could get more done with a lot less steps and time.

 In 1995 Shell received her Private Investigators License and went to work for UCC, Inc.  UCC is the number one Collections Agency for the Rental Car Damage Industry.  They collected on Rental Car Damage Claims for Alamo, Avis, and Enterprise etc. Shell started an Asset and Skip Tracing company called UCC Information Services for the Collection Agency. This type of work is very fast paced and again she was able to come up with systems to help with the process. She implemented those into the department and was soon recognized by her clients.

After several years of successful Investigations she went on to develop a Skip Tracing and Collections department for one of the top, Sub-Prime Auto Lenders in the US, managing a team of 22 collection agents. The team developed a new delinquency level for a test project and it was so successful it is still in existence today. The team set company records that topped the companies 50 year history. Shell mentored and promoted more people in her department than the other departments. Again the common thread seemed to be coming up with systems and ways of doing things that increased productivity and exceeded company goals.  

In 2003 Shell came to Staged Homes. The company was very new and very mom and pop.  Shell thought this could be a set back in her career but decided to make it a challenge. She even worked out of a home office for the first two years.  As time went on she served as the manager of the Corporate Office, the Director of Marketing and National Accounts.  She was able to accomplish many goals and developed an in house marketing department. She helped grow this company into a multi million dollar organization. During her tenure she was able to help others build their home staging businesses. She found most people were lacking was knowledge on marketing and how to develop their policies and procedures and to stick by them in order to build a successful business.

Shell went on to develop the Staging Career Center and the Real Estate Staging Association. Helping Professional Stagers build their brand and businesses and developing a legitimate trade organization for the professional stager.  Both organizations have proved to be a success.

In all of Shell’s experiences she was able to come up with systems to work SMARTER not HARDER.  Shell found that by “brainstorming” with others as a team we came up with the most incredible marketing ideas and systems to help them grow their business.

Now Shell is available to help clients of all walks of life and businesses. Marketing, Business Coaching, Consulting and developing Brand Recognition is her passion.
